@@nikutubo Yes. I'm sitting 1.5 meters away in front of the 55 inch television. I also have stereo headphones on my head. It's awesome because I have the impression of being there live like a spectator. The video is in high definition and the sound is excellent. It's really fun. Many people only watch such videos on their cell phone or small laptop. But if you want to have real enjoyment, then you should sit close to a large TV with headphones.
Ohnishi Gakuen - ALWAYS an entertaining band to watch and listen to. Band appears smaller in size this year but that has not affected the talent and musicianship quality at all. A testament to the school system, the band support structure but most of all the students that put all their time, efforts and passion into what they do. Bravo on the performance Ohnishi. 👏👏👏!!! MIKAN - 🙇♂️
Unlike Kyoto Tachibana, there are not many channels that upload Ohnishi Gakuen and Mito Girls' though their music are amazing. Thank you for the speedy upload!!
I have to say thank you Mikan for sharing can you let me know which prefecture they are from? If the Japanese bands where a ring this band is one of the shining little diamond amongst all the other big gold bands. This performance shows that the students are as good as any of the other high school students with instrument control, tone and quality playing. Yes the band is smaller but looks like another 5 players about to join which will be good. All helping as well with the equipment. Team work!! If you have not seen the video yet their parade marching is extremley good. Simple and effective entertaining the audience. The recent youtube video of their simple and effective field display was good to watch. A real credit to them and youth music everywhere.

A slightly more "compact" Ohnishi Gakuen line-up than we might normally expect but the same outstanding,quality performance to which we have become accustomed.BRAVO OHNISHI one of Japan's Finest !!!
I gave a thumbs up / like, at the start of the video. Big smiles of these students and they're happy to perform. That's what got me , plus their performance.
Second post hope you do not mind. The clarinet player with her back to the picture has that special little something that shows in the way she holds the clarinet and flows with the instrument as she plays. I would also like to comment on the progress that the band has made and the new student lead by the trumpet player (not the saxophone section) who I noticed stepped in on a video from 2 years ago to solve a problem and showed her leadership ability then.
